About drystoneI am the infamous Wizardmarra, Storyteller and the man who programs the Drystone Stage at Solfest a music and arts festival held on August Bank Holiday at Tarnside Farm in Cumbria www.solwayfestival.co.uk Every year I get hundreds of demos, links to 'myspace' pages and request from bands, singers, musicians of all kinds as well as poets, comedians and others wanting a chance to play on what has come to be regarded as something of a cult stage, allready it has its own fan created myspace page and following. Here I'll play selected tracks from the acts that have performed there in the four years of its existence, those who will be on it at this years festival and the pick of those others who I simply haven't got the space to put on the stage but I think deserve a bit more exposure.
